Netcup Registration & Order Guide
1. Important Notes
1.1 Keep IP and Account Location Consistent
When registering a Netcup account, your IP address must match your selected country of residence. For instance, if your IP indicates Europe but your account profile specifies the United States, your application may be rejected for security reasons. Do not use proxies or VPNs; register using your actual IP address.1.2 Address Requirements
Ensure your address ends with a precise house or building number (e.g.,123 Main St or No. 45) rather than a vague location, or your request will be rejected for security reasons. Additionally, avoid using special symbols in your address line other than periods (.), otherwise the form submission may fail.
1.3 Order Required for Account Creation
Attempting to register a blank account without purchasing a product will likely result in rejection. Netcup requires you to place an order when registering a new account.1.4 Phone Country Code Matching
Your phone number's country code must match your registered country. For a US account, use a standard US phone number format (e.g.,+1 202-555-0123).
2. Registration Steps
2.1 Select a Product Coupon Code
First, visit https://netcup.free/ to select a coupon code for your desired product. For example, if you wish to purchase the Netcup RS1000G12, copy any available coupon code for that product, then click Redeem at Netcup Store.
2.2 Redeem Coupon Code
First, select your country (United States). The system will automatically update the tax-adjusted price. For customers residing outside the EU (such as the US), the VAT rate will automatically be set to 0%.
Paste the copied coupon code into the CODE field as shown below, then click Redeem.
You can now see the updated product price. Scroll up to review the product details, then click Continue to the order.
2.3 Fill In Account Information
You will be prompted to log in to an existing CCP Account (Customer Control Panel) or register a new one. Since we need to create a new account, fill out your details as shown below. Ensure the country selection is set to UNITED STATES - US.
Save your information by clicking Save address.
Proceed with your order by clicking Go to order to view the summary screen.
Review the detailed pricing and personal information, check the two required checkboxes (highlighted in red boxes above), and click Order at charge.
When you see the confirmation screen below, your account registration and order submission are complete. Please wait for the Netcup team to review your order.
3. Netcup CCP Account Tax Exemption & Payment
Netcup automatically applies tax exemption based on the country specified in your account profile. Since the registration country was set to UNITED STATES - US, your account is automatically tax-exempt (0% VAT).
Orders submitted during German business hours are typically reviewed and approved within 1 hour (though it may occasionally take slightly longer).
Upon approval, you will receive two emails containing your CCP account credentials and invoice details. (Netcup now issues advance payment invoices directly upon account approval).
Email 1: CCP Account Credentials & CCP Login Link
The CCP (Customer Control Panel) is used to manage your account details, active servers, domain services, cancellations, payments, support tickets, and abuse reports.
Email 2: Invoice & Payment Information
This email contains payment details and the attached PDF invoice. Log in via the CCP Link to view unpaid invoices. Payment can be completed using PayPal or Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, etc.)，SEPA. Your server will be provisioned shortly after payment clearance.
4. SCP Account (Server Control Panel)
The SCP Account is the management panel for VPS and RS servers. It allows you to install Linux/Windows operating systems, reboot servers, monitor network traffic, perform backups, optimize disks, and reset root passwords.
After your initial order payment succeeds, Netcup will send your SCP login details. Note: The username is identical to your CCP username, but the password is different.
Finally, a separate delivery email containing your server's IP address and root password will arrive. At this point, the registration and setup process is fully complete!
